Hi, I'm Chloe.
I guess you could say, I like clothes. Maybe a little too much.
For most of my life, my relationship with my wardrobe was a never-ending cycle of splurge-binge-splurge-binge with little forethought regarding new purchases or afterthought once they were gone.
If the price tag was low enough, I’d buy things I didn’t need, and my closet morphed into a lonely museum of unloved items.
Through the kindest and most encouraging little insta-community, I discovered new ways of thinking about clothing — that quality is always superior to quantity; that garment-making and garment-wearing are art forms not to be rushed, forced, or exploited; and that the stories and hands behind the fabrics we put on our bodies matter.
This blog is an outlet as I continue building a thoughtful wardrobe that represents brands with purpose as well as recycled, secondhand goods. I am no minimalist, expert in ethics, or style-guru, but I hope you will join me as I practice wearing with intention.
