The Fall 10x10: My Top 3 Looks

My gateway into the world of slow fashion was the spring 10x10. I missed it by a couple of months, so I couldn’t wait to participate for the fall.

If you aren’t familiar, Lee Vosburgh started the 10x10 in 2015, and you can read more about it here. The short of it: Pick ten items to mix-and-match over ten days.

I wasn’t sure how this was would play out. While I have no issue outfit-repeating, I didn’t feel like my closet “went together” enough to produce a 10x10 I actually wanted to wear. I started this blog to slim down my wardrobe to only what I really use, but figuring that out is no easy feat.

There were a couple of outfits I loved from my 10x10 and a few I didn’t care for at all; in fact, I ended up selling this grey checkered tunic. But that is kind of the point, I suppose — to figure out what works and what doesn’t! Otherwise it’s just taking up space.

Thank you to everyone who voted! I really enjoyed reading your feedback. These were your top three picks from my fall 10x10:

My Whimsy & Row Flora Pants + striped colorful sweater (thrifted) combo won by a landslide, but second and third place were neck-and-neck. I’m just glad my personal favorite made it in there (number 3!). I will definitely be pairing my Fallow Fields Clothing with that blue jumper again soon.
